Atlantica Global / Europe: Spartacus Rising – Freedom through Bloodshed

2020.11.17

Spartacus, who hailed from the river banks of Strymon river (now modern day Bulgaria) before he became the well-renowned warrior of revolution, started his life as a mercenary; a weapon for hire.

With ill terms, he was recruited as a soldier under the same faction that desecrated his homeland. It was no easy feat for the man as he had deserted his own army and became an insurgent against his former allies.

He would then be captured by the opposing faction but it was a grueling task as he had displayed unmatched wit and battle proficiency.

He then became a gladiator and undergone gladiatorial training by his captives to prepare for the battles to come. However, little did the trainers know that they would be raising the very man who would one day become the symbol of revolution himself.

Spartacus' endless gladiatorial training had paid off as he had further developed his battle strategy and power. With every duel he would inspire many of his fellow captive gladiators and eventually make them join him on a fight for their freedom.

His movement, composed of countless gladiators and slave warriors, has led to them defeating their captors, escaping their prison and setting on an expedition where he planned to seize control of slave encampments and free its captives. He would eventually amass an army, composed by slave warriors that could rival any nation.

As words spread by of his exploits, he gained notoriety over the land and his army would be known as the Rebellion Army.

Warriors from across the land would challenge the battle-hardened leader however they would only be crushed single handedly as his strategy was unmatched. He would then be renowned as one of the greatest tacticians that would rival others throughout the land.

It was through their expedition, as history depicted, that they had met their downfall. An army formed by Crassus stands in their way, unflinching and prepared for what Spartacus would throw at him. Crassus was no ordinary praetor but a much fiercer and formidable leader that terrified even his own army.

Now the fate of Spartacus rests on your hands, the hands of a mighty Atlantian. Will you alter history and bring the gladiator of revolution to his victory, or will you let history repeat itself?

It is up to you to decide…
